Meet Mary Edenburn, a dedicated and compassionate employee at Loman-Ray Insurance. Mary has been in the insurance industry for 40 years and currently works on the crop insurance team where she has made great connections with farmers and built long-lasting friendships.
Mary's journey into the insurance industry began in 1983 when she received a cold call from an agent who offered her a job. Since then, Mary has been working in various insurance-related roles, and came to the Loman-Ray team in 2019.
When asked about her proudest moment at Loman-Ray, Mary reminisced about the support she received from her colleagues when her husband passed away last year. She expressed her gratitude towards everyone who was caring and supportive during that difficult time, a testament to the sense of community at Loman-Ray.
Apart from her work, Mary enjoys knitting and crocheting in her free time. She also volunteers at her church, where she is the treasurer, and with non-profit organizations like Hooves of Hope in Potomac and Gateway Family Services.
When asked about her favorite superhero power, Mary's answer was a reflection of her kind-hearted nature. She said that she wished she had the power to bring peace and harmony to the world, where everyone could get along and there wouldn't be any chaos.
Mary is an inspiring employee at Loman-Ray, whose dedication and compassion extend beyond her work. Her commitment to her clients and her community is admirable, and she is a valuable member of the Loman-Ray family.
“Her upbeat attitude is contagious and anytime I interact with her, I walk away with a smile on my face. She has a way of bringing the positive energy up even higher around her! Her interactions with clients are the same, and for this reason, they request to work with her again and again."
“Mary is very much a team player and will stop what she is doing to help another co-worker, always willing to jump in and help. She is always willing to answer any questions or find the answer for them if she doesn't know it."
“Mary Edenburn goes above and beyond when solving problems, taking care of customers and just getting things done in general. She is always willing to pitch in and help any co-worker whether its her job to do it or not. Her clients really appreciate that Mary goes the extra mile every time. She is very good at achieving her goals and gives back her time at church and Hooves for Hope in Potomac. Mary is very genuine and her co-workers and clients can tell.”
