Cindy Guin is a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) at our Sullivan office, known for her exceptional service and warm personality. Before diving into the insurance industry, Cindy enjoyed an interesting job at the Findlay Marina boat dock, where she spent her days surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Shelbyville. "It was such a fun job, seeing all the boats and enjoying nature right here in our backyard," Cindy recalls.
Cindy’s journey into insurance began with a brief stint at Country Companies, but it was in September 2001 when she joined CF&H Insurance, following Linda Carlton-Huber’s expansion of Horn Insurance. "It has been a fun and interesting ride," Cindy reflects on her long and fulfilling career.
For Cindy, the relationships she builds with her customers are the highlight of her job. “I love my customers. I love helping them and interacting with them. Many have turned into friends through the process,” she shares. This personal connection is what drives Cindy to go above and beyond in her role.
Cindy’s commitment to excellence extends beyond just customer service; it’s rooted in her meticulous attention to detail. She has seen firsthand how proper documentation can make a significant difference in a client's experience. By carefully tracking every detail, she ensures that nothing falls through the cracks, whether it’s a client’s inquiry about policy changes or a complex claim situation. This thoroughness provides her clients with clarity and confidence in their coverage, allowing them to navigate their insurance needs with peace of mind.
Outside of work, Cindy enjoys live music and traveling with her husband to see their favorite bands. Her family is her biggest love. With four children, four grandchildren, and a large extended family, Cindy cherishes the time spent with them. She’s also looking forward to an upcoming trip to Ireland with her oldest daughter, a destination she’s always dreamed of visiting.
