The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from October 15 to December 7 each year. During this time, you can review and change your Part D prescription drug plan or Medicare Advantage plan for the upcoming year. Outside of AEP, changes are limited to certain circumstances, like moving or qualifying for a Special Enrollment Period. I’m here to help you understand your options during AEP and beyond.

Original Medicare includes Part A (hospital insurance) and Part B (medical insurance). Medicare Advantage (Part C) is an alternative to Original Medicare, offered through private insurance plans that often bundle hospital, medical, and sometimes even prescription coverage. Part D is prescription drug coverage you can add to Original Medicare or certain Medicare Advantage plans.
